A team of extreme climbing legends is determined to be the first to ascend the 700-metre sheer north wall of Acopan Tepui, a table mountain rising majestically from the deep, primeval jungle of Venezuela. Before they even begin the dangerous climb, Stephan Glowacz and his companions must carry all their equipment through almost impassable jungle with deadly animal and plant life and treacherous waters to set up base camp at the foot of the plateau – all in relentless rain and against the warnings of the local natives who hold the mountain sacred. Spectacular high definition aerial photography reveals this hidden world and shares an adventure that most would fear to live themselves.
