The Mathewsons are a dynasty of classic car auctioneers from North Yorkshire - as the family hunt for rare vehicles to sell they uncover heart-warming and remarkable stories behind classic car ownership.
Bangers & Cash follows the Mathewson family as they discover and auction over 2,000 classic cars a year, as well as all kinds of rare and vintage motorbikes and memorabilia.

Broadcast UK Ratings 20th Nov 20- “Yesterday’s fourth episode of its third run of Bangers & Cash achieved 365k/1.8% at 8pm on Thursday, the second biggest overnight rating for the series this year, behind its 383k/2% launch on 22 October. That episode rose to 578k/2.8% after seven days catch-up on TV, the show’s highest rating over its three series, and Yesterday’s top-rated original commission this year. Overall, it ranks only second behind a repeat of Gold’s Dad’s Army: The Lost Episodes on 26 August at 9pm (593k/3%).”
