131 men, 21 days, yet only 26 will survive. For the first time in 25 years the Australian SAS lifts the veil of secrecy on what it takes to pass the toughest military selection course in the world. Over three weeks the candidates face sleep deprivation, brutal physical exercise and constant questioning; all designed to break down the body and mind to get to the heart of the man. For many the mind games and physical demands are too much and the number quickly whittles down to half. The remaining few now face eighteen months of training before they have the right to join the elite ranks of the Australian Special Air Service Regiment.
